Role: Professor & Lead for Interactive Development
Web development, Responsive design, HTML5, CSS, Javascript
In 2023, I served as the professor for a Final Capstone course, where I led the development of a professional portfolio website. The students were responsible for creating the visuals, messaging, and branding for 2023 graduating class’s overall showcase site, while I took on the lead role for coding with two other students. The overall project consisted of a responsive Web & Mobile site made up of 3 major sections featuring the introduction to students page, an outstanding portfolio showcase, and an awards section. This collaborative project integrated branding, web development, and user experience design, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their creative vision and technical understanding. The capstone served as the culmination of their studies, preparing them to enter the evolving design industry with a strong foundation and a polished online presence. Two students were instrumental in helping to develop aspects of the site. A big shout-out goes out to Quan Chung and Michael Ippolito.
The website along with the Senior 2023 Exhibition was well received and as a result, an article was written to promote and highlight the great work the students had done. See parts of the article below.
